About Remy
Remy Solomon is a Canadian-American writer with a passion for telling female-driven stories set against larger-than-life backdrops. She’s sold projects into development with companies like Sony and Apple TV+, and developed with CBS Studios, Blink49 and more. She also recently wrote on ALERT: MISSING PERSONS UNIT (Fox).
Prior to her work as a screenwriter, she was a playwright and producer in Chicago where she wrote stage plays for The New Colony, Prop Thtr and Free Street Theater. But let’s get to the juicy part: she moonlighted as a romance novelist, ghostwriting thirteen novels —eleven of which made Amazon's Top 10 Bestseller List. She's also been published in digital outlets including Insider, Betches and Narratively. Remy has been a finalist in the Echo Theater National Young Playwrights Competition and the NYC Midnight’s Short Screenplay challenge, and has placed in the Screencraft Screenwriting Fellowship, Final Draft’s Big Break Competition and the Script Pipeline Competition.
In her spare time, she does content creation on TikTok and Substack, where she’s participated in campaigns for brands like Hulu, A24, Neon and TheRealReal.
Remy is a dual member of the WGA and the WGC. She’s repped by Antoni Kaczmarek (Sugar23) and David Hiller (Hansen Jacobson Teller & Hoberman).
